Joan MacPherson Reverend Joan MacPherson
Main Street Church is a spirit filled community seeking to be love and light in the world around us. These pages give some indication of what God is enabling in our midst and the amazing people who are responding. What a range of gifts, interests, pains and joys we bring. How hope filled it is to see God’s grace and love taking shape in the ministries of our people. In a culture of isolation and individualism it is a challenge and a blessing to be part of a beloved community. I am humbled to be serving here and curious and eager to see what God has in store for us. I am a second career pastor, though that former efficiency/quality engineering life seems really far in the past. In 2004 I got the wonderful call to serve as Pastor and Teacher of this spirit filled congregation. At that time they were looking for ways to be a vibrant and relevant community following in Jesus’ way. We seek to be that still. I am an avid reader, love the outdoors and being on the water and enjoy walking and yoga. I have a cat and we share some commonalities – curiosity and love of a good nap.

Every Sunday we rejoice with an eclectic mix of choral music combining traditional hymns, contemporary anthems, culturally aware lyrics, and music and lyrics which reflect the core values of Main Street Church. Danny is also Executive Director of Kingston NH’s Voices of Distinction which performs throughout the year serving the community.
